Educational Seminar Topic:
You see it in the headlines every day. Names like Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and so many more are facing sexual assault allegations going back many years and there are constant lawsuits over unfair pay and the wage gap between men and women. In addition to the harassment you have seen in the news, it seems as if the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the courts expand the definition of harassment and discrimination every day. Dawn Walsh, an HR professional from ADP will be going over the ever expanding range of behaviors that create a hostile work environment, the differences between free speech at work and protected speech in public, and the consequences for individuals who exhibit unacceptable behavior. In addition, the legal threats that companies or organizations will be discussed.
Dawn Walsh is a SPHR & SHRM-CP, CHRS, HCM certified HR Business Partner with ADP with over 20 years of experience in multiple industries. She strategizes with her ADP clients to insure they are in a position of strength. She works with clients on regulatory compliance, talent management, risk mitigation, training and development and employee relations, so they can do what they sought out to do originally – grow their business and their bottom line.
